19thC. SCOTTISH REGIMENTAL SKEAN DHU FOR THE GORDON HIGHLANDERS #8983
A regimental Scottish Highland skean dhu for the Gordon Highlanders, 3¾ inch blade with a fuller either side and a scalloped edge, basket weave horn hilt set with brass studs with silver mounts top and bottom decorated with thistles and flower heads, the top surmounted with a cairngorm, tooled leather sheath, no hallmarks. Overall 7½ inches. The blade stained. #8983mao
