19th CENTURY CONGO KNIFE, KONDA TRIBE #9117
Late 19th century parade knife from the Konda/Mongo tribe of Zaire (Previously Belgian Congo), 12 inch hand forged blackened blade sharp on all edges with a central raised rib, 2 fullers either side and scratch decoration on the blade, the carved wooden hilt with some copper wire wrapped around the centre. Overall 16 inches. #9117ll
