SHEFFIELD MADE POCKET FOLDING FRUIT KNIFE #9646

A vintage English double folding bladed pocket fruit knife with a 2 inch and 1½ inch stainless steel blades stamped T. Turner & Co Sheffield. England, all metal construction, both sides engraved "The British Thermostat Co Ltd". Overall length 3 inches.  #9646.

 

Possibly given away free for advertising purposes by the company in the 193o's, Thomas Turner ceased trading in 1932 and were taken over by Viners Ltd

The British Thermostat Company was formed in 1928 at Sunbury-on-Thames England
