19TH CENTRY AFRICAN CONGO KNIFE. SAKA TRIBE #9673

A late 19th century African Congo knife from the Saka/Mongo people of the Tetela Tribe, large leaf shaped double edged 33cm blade tapering from 10cm, the hand forged blade with a central raised rib either side and surrounded by 4 other raised ribs, serrated decoration at the top of the blade, the hilt mostly copper bound and iron coil wrapped.
