An early 19th century powder flask for a gun, the nozzle with stamped SYKES, DRAMS and with 4 graduations, 2½, 2¾, 3 and 3¼, the top plate with a wrap around spring stamped EXTRA QUALITY SYKES PATENT, the metal body wrapped in bamboo cane woven wicker, slight loss to small patch at the bottom of one side and some staining, otherwise in full working order, overall 21cm #9908lo
