20TH CENTURY DAGGER. FANG TRIBE DAGGER #9684

An early 20th century, dagger/small sword from the Fang tribe of Gabon West Africa, 34cm double edged hand forged blade with 2 extrusions at the top, the top of the blade etched either side with a geometric design, the blade with a raised central rib. the blade and tang are forged fromn one piece of metal, the wooden hilt has been secured to the tang by copper wire, contained in the original plain wooden sheath,   Overall 48cm.  #9684mlo
