LATE 19TH CENTURY SCOTTISH HIGHLAND SKEAN DHU #9923

A late 19th early 20th century Scottish Highland Skean Dhu, single edged 9.5cm single edged blade, scalloped back edge and with a single fuller either side, pressed horn hilt in the Turkish knot design, the silver mounts cast with thistles, the top mount set with a blue sapphire, contained in the original leather covered wooden sheath with silver mounts top and bottom, both mounts have had the owners inital and address scratched onto them. Not hallmarked, overall 20cm     #9923mro
