Carved wooden and bone figure probably by a follower of SIMON TROGER 1683-1768 sculptor from the TIROL AUSTRIA, made of bone and possibly lime wood, depicting a soldier returning from the Russian front at the time of the Napoleonic Wars, look bedraggled his clothes ragged, with his sword by his side and a pair of pistols in his belt, polychrome painting with brown, green and red. Overall 10 inches.
